3 Bedroom House in Talmont, Tahoe City

Wonderful custom home in wooded Talmont Estates, near Tahoe City, where the drive up offers panoramic views of Lake Tahoe. Three large Master Bedrooms. Two bedrooms have California King beds and full bathrooms and the other bedroom has a Queen and full bathroom. Additionally, there is a bunk bed and twin bed in 2 bedrooms . Each bedroom also has a TV. Two baths are new, with beautiful tiled showers and jetted Jacuzzi tub. The kitchen has been fully remodeled, with a commercial Viking Gas Range, Frankie Sink / Faucet and Granite counter-tops and new refrigerator . We have also upgraded the downstairs with new hardwood floors and the staircase and upstairs with new carpeting. This house is nicely furnished and comes with all linens. There are two decks; one (in rear) has an awesome Hot Springs Hot Tub on it. The living room has a sleeper sofa, a new 55 inch LCD Television, and a Country wood stove with a glass door. We have a good cable TV package and high speed cable Internet with a wireless router. This house is very well equipped. Comes with seasoned firewood, Lion gas BBQ grill on rear deck, high end kitchen cook ware/dishes, a great supply of cooking spices and electrical fence wiring protecting all ground level doors and windows to keep bears away from the house while you are sleeping or away for the day. Also, comes with Private Beach access.
Paige Meadows Retreat: Talmont Estates is a great neighborhood for walking, biking or just hanging out. Very child-friendly and pet-friendly, too (off the beaten track, relatively low on vehicular traffic). Walking distance to Paige Meadows, a chain of alpine meadows which are a local favorite for hiking and cross country skiing.
Private Beach Rights: This property has beach rights at the Tahoe Park Beach, next to Sunnyside Resort. Includes a playground, swings, bar-b-que pits, horseshoes, volley ball and picnic tables.
Close to the lake and Resorts: Located within minutes to Sunnyside and Homewood Marinas, as well as Homewood Ski resort, Grandlibakken, Alpine Meadows and Squaw Valley.

Summary: This house is a 5 star place to stay. The kitchen is amazing; it’s equipped with everything you could need plus more. Three big bedrooms all with on suite bathrooms. Plus another full bathroom. Entire house was very clean. Lots of off street parking. Great location. Close to town and ski areas.The owner was very responsive to our questions. We cannot say enough good things about this house.

Summary: The home worked perfectly for our family. We really enjoyed the outdoor seating areas and ate our dinners at the large table on the front porch. We liked the close proximity to the beach associated with the VRBO.

Summary: Our stay over the 4th of July was great! The location is perfect on the West Shore, and the neighborhood is quiet with lovely neighbors. The house has a bathroom in each bedroom. It worked well for our family and we would stay again. The house only has two towels per bathroom so it made it tricky for a 6 day stay for-more than two people per bedroom. Also, it does not have a garage that is available for guests so we had to bring in our chairs and boards and cooler up the stairs everyday and there was not really any room for those things in the house.

Summary: Love this place! Three large master bedrooms with en suite bathrooms for each, really nice touch. Well appointed kitchen with large windows letting in natural light. Cozy living room with large screen TV and DVDs. This time of year, don't forget mosquito repellant and allergy meds (a lot of pollen around the area).

Summary: We had 5 adults and a dog very comfortably housed over memorial day weekend. With 3 bedrooms and 4 full bathrooms, we had plenty of space. We loved the jacuzzi. The neighborhood was very quiet and had easy access to some moderate hiking trails. The kitchen was very well-stocked with amenities. We really had no complaints and would certainly stay again! Note for dog owners that the yard is not fenced.

Summary: We booked Curtis’ property for a recent trip with friends to ski Palisades Tahoe. The location was great, only about 15 minutes or so to the mountain from the house. All of the instructions and documentation Curtis provided in his communications both via email and at the hose were concise and easy to follow. Check in process was very easy and straight forward. The cabin was very clean and well stocked from soap and shampoo to coffee and kitchenware. The beds were also very comfortable and the neighborhood was very quiet and peaceful. Perfect for a rustic escape. In the evenings we were just a quick 5-10 minute ride to Main Street and many restaurants but there was also a market nearby and we could have easily prepared meals at the house with all that was provided. Overall a great experience and a great location for a ski getaway!
